Does Remora sell shopper data, and who controls how it is used?

No. We never sell your data or your shoppers' data. We use shopper information for two things: running your website and reporting results to you. You can use it for your own business, including your own marketing, however it may not be sold.

Shopper data and Remora account data

Your dealership controls the shopper data collected on its website, and we handle it on your behalf. Information Remora collects for its own business, such as visits to remora.com and your Remora account, is covered separately by our Privacy Policy.

Dealership and vendor responsibilities

Your dealership sets its own privacy policy and notices, and we can place a default policy on your site to start from. Third-party tools you add come with their own terms. Vendors Remora uses to handle your data are held to the same protections we follow.

What about deidentified or aggregated information?

We can use anonymized, combined data to improve and benchmark our service. It never identifies a shopper or your dealership.
