How do I add a banner?

Once you open the Remora Administrative Portal and select Banners under the Website Mods tab (reminder on how to access banners), choose the group you are adding the banner to using the Filters drop-down menu (pictured below).

After you have selected from Banner Groups, click the blue circle with a plus sign in it (previewed below) at the lower, right corner of the page to open up the Add Banner page.

Next, click on the blue SELECT IMAGE button (illustrated below) under Banner Image.

The File Uploader is the same one used throughout the Remora Administrative Portal. You just need to fill in the required fields (marked by the * symbol), including Image Alt Text, Start Date/Time, and End Date/Time. You can link the banner to an internal page or external website and have the option of the external link opening in a new window by clicking on the white toggle switch that changes to blue when selected (illustrated below).

Note: When entering the Start Date/Time, the banner will not go live until the chosen time. If you want the banner to go live right away, make sure you check the box in front of Start Immediately (see below).

The banner will automatically become inactive once the End Date/Time hits, or you may check the box in front of No Expiration (shown below) to keep the banner active until it is manually inactivated.

After you have entered the information into all of the necessary fields, the last step is clicking on the green ADD BANNER button (depicted below) at the bottom of the page.
