Answer:

Once you open the Remora Administrative Portal and select Vehicle Groups under the Inventory Mods tab (directions on how to access vehicle groups), click on the blue circle with a plus sign (pictured below) in the lower, right-hand corner of the page.

This will bring you to the Add Vehicle Group page (previewed below) where you can configure vehicle groups.

Fill in the required Name field (illustrated below). We suggest using text that indicates what type of vehicles are being grouped together, such as “Used Cars under 10k.”

The optional Description field (depicted below) lets you enter a more comprehensive explanation of the vehicle group, like “2010 or older used cars less than or equal to $10,000.”

Under the subsection of Add Vehicle Filters (see below), you will generate the list of vehicles to group together.

In the Field drop-down menu (shown below), you can select any category we are supplied in the inventory feed, from body to year.

Next, set the comparison type/operator and what value to compare it to (displayed below).

For example, to add a group of vehicles that are “2010 or older used cars less than or equal to $10,000,” start with the following:

Part I: “2010 or older used cars”

  1. From the Field drop-down menu, select Year.
  2. From the Comparison drop-down menu, select Less Than or Equal.
  3. In the Value field, enter 2010.
  4. Click the green plus button (visualized below) to add your criteria and move to the next row where you will define the rest of the filter.

Part II: “less than or equal to $10,000”

  1. From the Field drop-down menu, select the price field you want to pull from, such as Lease Price or Invoice Price.
  2. From the Comparison drop-down menu, select Less Than or Equal.
  3. In the Value field, enter 10000.
  4. Once again, click the green plus button to add your final criteria.

Then, you will see the Filter Compare field (given below) appear. This is where you will set whether you want the filter to limit your search to the Year AND Price chosen or to expand the search to either Year OR Price. In this case, we want both, so it is left as AND.

The filter should end up looking similar to this:

In the Edit Group Vehicles section (exhibited below), you can add additional vehicles to the group by searching through your entire inventory using Filters at the top (represented below) or the Search box (portrayed below) in the right corner.

After you have found the vehicle(s), click the corresponding checkbox underneath the Select column (presented below). If you already have all of the vehicles needed from the previous Add Vehicles Filters section, you can leave this area empty.

Lastly, click on the green ADD GROUP button (demonstrated below) at the bottom of the page.

Note: Now that the vehicle group has been added, you will need to make sure you add the newly created group to a page. Otherwise, the vehicle group is not being used.
