How do I make a docked departments button appear on my website?

When you want customers to see right away your hours of operation and current availability, here is how to add a docked departments button to the left-hand side of the main homepage image. Once you open the Remora Administrative Portal and select Website Settings under the Website Mods tab (reread how to access docked buttons), clicking on the toggle switch next to Enable Docked Departments Button changes it from gray to blue (pictured below), indicating active status.

Then, click on the green SAVE CHANGES box (previewed below) appearing near the top of the page.

This is an example of what the end result will look like. A red label will display as “Open Now” when the sales department is open, “Open Soon” if it is within one hour of opening, and “Closing Soon” if it is within one hour of closing. That day’s hours will also show.

Clicking on the button will open up an expanded view (illustrated below) with hours and contact information listed for each department.
