How do I set up Google My Business?

Google My Business is a control center allowing you to create and modify your business details from one place, such as hours and directions, straight onto Google Search and Maps. You also have access to other features, like Insights, Reviews, and linking with Analytics and Ads.

To get started, go to https://www.google.com/business/ to set up an account using a Google email address and start the verification process.

I already have a Google My Business account.

Well, you're ahead of the game! If you already have a Google My Business account, be sure not to create another one.

I cannot access my Google My Business account.

The verification postcard never arrived!

Many times, verifying your business listing with Google involves requesting a postcard sent to your physical location. Once you would have received this, you will sign into the Google account in the Google My Business you requested the postcard from to enter the postcards verification code. If you did not receive this postcard, you will need to start the process over again and can do that by calling Google at 1-844-491-9665 or by contacting their Twitter page @googlemybiz.
